Title: Mentoring Program
Post by: Mr_Dark on November 26, 2014, 08:35:10 PM
Want to learn a new role, but no idea how to start? Here you find PSDH members who are willing to help you out. If there is no mentor for the role you want to fulfil, just reply in this thread and ask for some help :)

Don't feel shy to contact a mentor, they're also available when not running events.

If you which to be added to this list as a mentor, just reply in this thread with which role you which to mentor, with which class(es) and your in-game and account name.

Anyone who already has a "student" contacting him?

I did have 1 contacting me (am at work atm and forgot the name) through ingame mail about condi on necro. Told him to whisp me when he's online so we can discuss it further.

Yesterday morning (30/11/14) He was online and I whisped him. Did not receive an answer.

That was probably me and I must have somehow missed your whisp amongst the other map chat, but we are in contact now regarding my condi necro.

I had two lovely engies whisping me so far, but I would not call them students. I assume they are both experienced players – they asked specific questions, to some I did not know the answers to, so the learning turns out to be mutual  :) It’s more fun than I expected, thanks guys! And I’m waiting for you to gear up and join the condis  :)

i'd like to learn commanding cobalt ,i don't have a tag and am not very good at  calling out doges   or recognizing the different attacks ... but i guess that will come in time , I already asked gem in TS  and Amanda did a  small bit of training   last weekend  which i enjoyed  very much . hope to do more of that   in the future

also  i'm on my work laptop and don't have a spelling checker on  this so  TYPOS EVERYWHERE .

I would also like to make myself available for mentoring Trainee Commanders at Amber Wurm and Tequatl (all spots, although I know Ranged DPS and Turrets best)

In addition, i would also like to increase my own experience by commanding on other wurm as well, so i can help out when needed (already did Cobalt twice, and think I will be able to do Crimson as well).

Happy to learn how to command any of these... So, Sign me up for where ever really. If there is any of them you'd like another commander for more than others just to balance numbers and give other people a break then put me there for learning :)
