Hello everyone,
Since our last guild meeting was a raging success, your party planners (me, Nova and Gem) can't wait to organise the next one. So that's what we've started with!
This time we want to announce the date really early so you all have enough time to take measures to get days off from work and book any means of travel. Without further ado. Next meeting will be helt from Friday, August 25th till Sunday, August 27th. The reason we choose this date is because the weather should still be OK (for dutch - and UK - standards) and the UK has a bank holiday the 28th. The 2017 meetup will be held in The Netherlands.
We're currently searching for a nice accommodation where we can (hopefully) host everyone, currently looking at one which can hold 60 of us nerds. Once we have decided on one we'll let you know, so stay tuned for any updates!
We would like to get an idea on how many people would like to join the meetup, so we know how big the accommodation has to be. So please leave a reply in this thread or let us know any other way. We're aiming for about 50 euro per person for the whole weekend (bed, food, and drinks).

I have an other question for you all.
What is the maximum you are willing to spend on the PSDH weekend? Full weekend (Friday to Sunday) including a place to sleep, food (breakfast, dinner) and drinks (soda, juice, beer).

We're aiming to get a place near Schiphol so that everyone who comes in by plane doesn't have to travel for hours to get to the meet. Public transport in the Netherlands is pretty cheap compared to the UK :)

Count me in. I can also bring someone from pretty much anywhere in Belgium or the southern half of The Netherlands if needed.
[EDIT] Having read this again today, I think I ought to clarify. I mean if anyone in PSDH, who lives in either Belgium or the southern half of The Netherlands, and who wants to go to the meeting, needs transport, I'd be happy to pick them up and bring them along (1 or maybe 2 people, however if it turns out to be more I may be able to borrow a bigger vehicle from work). It wasn't a threat of random kidnap of a Belgian or Dutch person to bring along to the meeting :P

As for me - the less the better ;P But I'd be able up to 100 euro/person, I think (I voted 70, because that would be perfect for me, but if needed I'm able to pay more).
I remember you were asking about food allergies etc before last meeting - it would be good to also take it into consideration when planning costs, imo. In my case it may costs more - I have coeliac's disease. I don't know how it is in Netherlands, but in general gluten-free food is more expensive. Also beer is a no-no for me - but I like cider and whisky - easy to get, but also more expensive, I think :P

Definitely up for this, but it will depend on our family holiday plans (although it is the second to last weekend of our holidays here, so should not pose that much of an issue)

i live in limburg belgië but i prefere to drive myself if you dont mind you can carpool with me , ermmm i want a place with a pool and a large open area so we can play /chill/drink outside . not sure if i'll take my drone i hope to be a better pilot than .

Sure. Being as I spend most of my time driving anyway, it might be nice to be a passenger for a change :D
Obviously if anyone else needs transport I can still always take my own car and any extra people, but if you're ok with doing a drive-by on Antwerp, I'll tag along :D
