Hellooo PSDH ,
It has been a scary year, but the scariest time is yet to come, the monsters will be among us as Halloween is about to be here. So let's get cozy inside our homes and join a safe* online event!
Soon it is time for our Halloween party; PSDH Grand Ghoulish Grisly Gruesome Guild Gathering
Of course this year we have got some fun stuff lined up for you again, with the chances of winning nice prizes. The day will feature some PSDH Halloween classics like; The Scary Short Story Competition and a visit to Steve and Bob. And of course some of you will be murdered….
Since Halloween is on a Saturday we will run it during the afternoon slot. The afternoon events start at 12:30(UK)/13:30(EU) on 31st October 2020.
This year we will start off with a skimmer race, part of which will go under water. It will be doable without that skill, but we advise to get the mastery before the event (it’s not a long achievement run). Try your best at Storm's latest diabolical creation and a chance of winning Carcharias, precursor to the legendary spear Kamohoali'i Kotaki.
Secondly Shiroiki will read out the stories from the Scary Short Story Competition. PSDH members will then vote on which story they liked best! The winner will be awarded with a Mini Awakened Abomination (~230g).
As a third we will have to find out who among us is the murderer, do it quickly before you are the next victim! Or maybe deceive everyone, because you are the murderer…. Survivors will be awarded Halloween goodies.... and a mop to clean up the blood.
After we cleaned up the mess from the murders, we will then find out who has the best knowledge of all things gruesome in our Horror movie quiz. Team up with your guildies and find out who has the most gory knowledge.
As is tradition we will end the events with a visit to Steve and Bob in the lunatic’s labyrinth for a Halloween trick or treat bag farm.

Please make sure you are in the Guildhall before the event starts. As for all our events, there will be a special channel available on Teamspeak (ts.psdh.eu).
Scary Short Story Competition
This classic has caused many commanders a sleepless night. This year we will test your skills again and see who of you can most creatively kill all of our commanders in your scary story.
The PSDH Halloween Scary Short Story Competition (PSDHHSSSC) guidelines are very simple so please make sure you follow them before submitting:
- you may submit one original scary short story of 400 words maximum
- the story involves PSDH members/leaders (for extra points)
- submit the story to Nova via Discord (or the website in a personal message if you don’t use Discord) on or before the deadline 11:00(UK)/12:00(EU) 31st October 2020
all entries must be original work from the author themselves
- include your GW2 account name (Example.1234) so that we can reward you if you win!
- the story is suitable for all ages (PG13)
We will read out the short stories during the PSDH Halloween event on 31st October 2020 and will be voted on by the PSDH members in attendance at the event. (You don't have to be there as a writer, it is more fun though!)
Remember the story deadline is 31st October 2020 at 11:00(UK)/12:00(EU)! Good luck!
