Introduce Yourself! / Greetings!

Hello!
I am happy to be a new member of PSDH.
I live in Frankfurt though I am Irish. The account name is meant to be pronounced like an Irish name, but I've given up on that & just respond to "Hey Lurch!" (it's not my real name at all, don't worry, and it's not very interesting).
I like to do stuff as my engineer, Eannadha Luwan, whose build is whatever seems like fun or fits my thematic mood at the time. Looking up maximum efficiency builds is an utterly alien concept to me. GW2 is fun, not arithmetic homework. I mainly play on weekends during the day. During the 2 weeks or so every 2 months when my wife is away on business, I am online most nights.
Programming pays the bills, though I used to be a research physicist (I love maths, but not DPS arithmetic).
Looking forward to banter on TS!
