Yo, congratz!

While i think its very nice of you to make plates, you shouldnt, I mean, you shouldnt have to pay them from your pocket, first thing is we are never 5 condi so there we loose quite some money given the price of condi food/plate, we would spend less if the 3 (or 4) condi were to actually use a food themselves, a plate is only worth it if 5 ppl eat it, since it require 10 meals to make, and last one hour (5x2=10).
Im not sure if im alone in that case, but wether its for condi/power/heal/tank, ive some account bound food, that mean I dont eat from the plate or it would override my (better imo) food.

Its really not to sound like a dick or anything, I appreciate that you bring plates, Im just concerned that this cost you more than it should seperatly, thats without mentioning that ppl should always have some food if they are serious about raiding.
Considering theres always a healer and tank, you are down to 8 ppl and thats likely to cost you more with plate than just distribute the food to whoever dont have any (and im hoping its a small minority).
This could be totally irevelant for power food as the orian steak cost nothing, but for condi food im fairly certain it will cost less to just give it 1 by 1.

Thats kinda was my point yeah, the 5 ppl "left out" from 15 are not forcably going to be that much left out, today we were 5 (so we was the left out...) and in less than 10min we gathered 5 more just from gchat, same happened last week.

We are not hardcore, and never the intention was to support that, on the contrary, we are taking "beginners" and yeah if it was just for me, I would simply lfg.
Im not posting this for myself, as pointed out the question is do we want to help ppl gather and do raid, especially the casual ppl, I was kinda told (and this topic support that I guess) that there was a demand for raiding.

Im not exactly sure how mental it is to not do something for the sake of ppl that would be left out, when in practice, the left out ppl make it trought with gchat anyway, but if it has to be like this, be it.

When theres not enought ppl for TT, commander has the option to call it out, we always fill up the map with lfg, and even with 30ppl on ts for cobalt it can fail, no hurt taken usually.
It may not be comparable in term of difficulty or commitment, but yeah we are not hardcore so a 100% kill rate for every session isnt exactly important either.

Again, not saying this like its something important for my own little person, ive 14 ascended armor and if I need my loot I know how to get it, its really not the point, it happen to be summer and ive mentioned it, but I dont think its any revelant, it was also summer in july and there was beer and bbq too.

Likewise about disolving or merging teams, im all fine about it and its not up to me to call it or demand it, I simply didnt mention that because my point wasnt about to "terminate" my team, but rather to enhance the way we are doing raids.

Edit: I was told it would look better if we label this as practice runs, while it remain the same thing (ie: accept anybody on the premise they at least whilling to have correct gear...) if that sound better than just raid run, I think nobody will have a problem with it :p

Sry for late reply on this, ive actually filled up my squares, but just as a heads up, its been 2 weeks the team2 actually didnt raid... for various reasons im starting to wonder if its actually going to hold up, maybe we should start considering to not make "teams" but rather just days where you register for raid, between the 14 ppl here and the 5 always ending up shorts on tuesday and friday... thats 2 group yeah but theres zero raiding atm.

Now i can understand this look like a bad call, for the sake of ... group consistency?
But the fact is we arent raiding at all, and pulling ppl from a stack to make 1 raid group, or 2 raid group in best case scenario, in practice it would work a billion time better than what we have now, and you wouldnt care much about having "spare" rdy at the moment it matter.

Edit: to be more clear, maybe we should rather consider this as an event, like for teq, we gather on ts at a given time, if theres 10ppl we make one raid, if theres 20ppl we make two raid, if theres 15 ppl, the 5 extra can either decide to call it a day (like when have no condi/not enought eggblock...) or to recruit more ppl in the guild chat or lfg in last resort. We would just need one or two coordinator (commander...) to handle this kind of thing.
Like for an open world event, if you come late, well we cant do much about it, sometime you may fill a gasp or sometime it will be full.
The coordinator job will be just about to maintain list of active ppl, their role, adding ppl to the list (verify theyr role, that they have right gear for exemple, link them to tutorials...) or removing inactive ones.

Back when they tryed to do raids as classical events, it failed mostly because nobody had any idea what they was doing, its been a year now and things changed, even gear by itself is slightly easier to acquire, its maybe time to give it another try, as a guild event rather than scattered teams across the roster.
The worse that could happen is... we dont raid... and we arent raiding atm lol.

PS: Im aware this is summer and some ppl are probly just in vacation, I dont think it invalidate my point.

Edit 2: I was actually pointed out that I was essentially "complaining" and "nagging" about raids, so I will just leave at this, you guys do like you want and Ill mostly no longer make suggestions or be pro-active on the subject... Im game if anybody want or need me but ill just avoid forum and talking about this as its seem to be corrosive subject.

Just a quick post for making myself visible, im available on thursday, saturday and sunday nights (member of the tuesday/friday team), experienced mostly on first wing, can do all roles/classes (heal/tank/condi/power).

Cant we just use the ppl who registered here instead? Im not against ardi or nova or whoever you suggest, but theres some ppl who did actually apply for this, so for second iteration we should use them instead (yeah, theres a tank who did register before you actually suggest twice a different tank lol)

About replacements for ppl who are not coming this or that day occasionally, since we cant really predict and ask for others who registred to come by, id say the default behavior if we miss 1 or 2 ppl on prime time would be to use the guild chat for rectruting, before we would actually use lfg, better to have any psdh member rather than random pug.

And btw, if everything goes super smooth like it did so far (yes i could rant for hours about how things are not always going so smooth...), if theres tonnes of demands (or available ppl), maybe we can do also sunday night...or we can maybe build a second team i dunno... (actually theres another team, so that would be a third team? on that matter maybe they/we could be use for hot swap when theres missing ppl)

The main reason i did ask for starting earlier was that we are still in a learning curve (and we are all online at 19h lol), once we actually beat some bosses this wont be any revelant (the session lenght), but in the meanwhile the difference between learning for 2 hours and 3 hours is actually revelant, this is a minor detail anyway.

If theres more ppl around who want to do raids, please post your template, so you get visible, and dont forget to post the days you are available (tuesday or friday... so far)

On 9 votes, we had 8 people voting for doubling the raid schedule.
On 8 votes, we had 6 people asking this to be friday.

Actually forgot to vote for the starting hour lol, but maybe we can assume everyone is ok to go with 19:30?
If so, we will start on Friday 8 19:30 to do the extra raid.

If you are in team Tuesday, and that you cant make it for team Friday, please state it so we can look for alternative players! (so far i think its zia and dark?)

For exemple mary could do the second night since full tank gear, but i suppose the most important is ppl to post their availability/wishes for us to compile whats the best day, maybe tonight we can do voting-thingy either at the end or start of the raid when everyone is on.
If we count thursday (guild "social meeting") then it could be up to 5 meeting in theory but thats really hardcore, then again if we crawl under demands why not after all, lets stick to 2 for now and lets exclude thursday, that leave us to friday/saturday/sunday voting.

Note: we can always kill trash mobs while waiting :p

And while at it, once you participated as a eggblocker (or condi), please either ask to a commander to move you to eggblocker (or condi) group or do it yourself, it is very helpfull to determine who can eggblock (or condi) at a glance of the ts channel.

Maybe it is worth mentioning in the guide that revenant can hide away from the veteran wurms with the tether distance of the tablet (1500 range!!!), afaik on crimson theres no safe spot, on amber if you stand by the trees you have 95% chance to never agro anything (they still potentially can hit you tho) but with a mesmer you can actually get on top of the branches for full safety, and that on cobalt near that vista they cant hit you at all from the ledge.
The boss still can target you for its aoe(s) despite you are a lonely distant target, as long you dont dodge out the 1500 tether distance it should be fine, a single aoe cant kill you, only a stack of aoe does that and he can only shoot one at you since you are single target anyway, for 2 revenants just dont stack on each others.
If you try to auto attack during burn with hammer it wont work usually, but if you press 111111 it should let you register dmg despite been over 1200 range, kinda like the ranger longbow

Zia, how about we actually fill empty spaces of the schedule with more sessions?
Ppl can freely decide to participate in some, all or just one of the schedule, fitting all situations possible?
I realize this could be a nightmare to maintain or setup, and maybe 4 times a week (2 empty week night and 2 weekend afternoon/night) would be overkill, but we can just try a second weekly session and see what happen, in term of participation.
Maybe the most important to post is the day(s) you actually plan to have free for this activity.
Side note: we could also maybe start the thing earlier than 8pm? By that i mean, we was pretty much all online by 19h30, more than half at 19h, would kind give us extra time to rock on.

Ive been, and will more, be practicing healer, that way xan can go condi since he didnt seem to like it much.

With 4 cavalier jewels you end up at 1519 thoughness, that should be good for the tank, amulet, 2 rings and one accessory, you will need laurels for the amulet, guild commendation for accessory, and laurels or fractal for the rings, wearing cavalier on the last accessory will push you to 1629, thats usually more than what you need to catch the healer.
Unfortunatly the game doesnt read armor but thoughness, that mean wielding the shield doesnt count for exemple, and thats why a light armor is able to do the job with just a few jewels, otherwise you would need to account for heavy/medium natural higher armor.

Oh and yes shes right, some traits can boost your thoughness, warrior trait can give +400 on res, guardian can give +150 to 5 ppl, ranger pets ect... check your build for extra source of thoughness.
Ive even saw flesh golem taking aggro on earliest days... alltho that was probly a bug lol.
