PSDH NAKED Events Sunday Summer Special: Return of the Dark Edition (PSDH-NESSS:RiDE for short)

Those who are familiar with our world-boss killing guild [PSDH], know that we have been organising Triple Trouble Wurm runs since the guild’s formation in September 2013. However, lately our glorious leader seems to be AFK. The Lovely Darkward, also known as the big Naked Norn has been very busy setting up his new condo.

Some say:He is just a big old cudly Norn,
and that he is just too poor to get some armor.

All we know is that he is called Dark, and that we love joining the Dark side in battle.

To do so, we would like to organise another of our famous and hilarious Darkwards Special Naked Triple Trouble Event Runs, and since it also will accomodate the return of Dark to Guild Wars 2, we would like to theme this one the PSDH NAKED Events Sunday Summer Special: Return of the Dark Edition.

So the beach party will kick off on the Splintered Coast Beach, where we will gather in our Swimsuits (Yes, no Armor allowed today, only funny hats), and hopefully Tequatl won’t spoil the fun……… But if he does, we will doze him to sleep with all our nakedness and continue our party.

After Tequatl, we’ll continue our Southern Tyrian beach tour on the Bloodtide Coast and wander about the nice Southern Regions where we will Scare the Evolved Jungle Wurm with our naked bodies, should it decide to show up.

After cleaning up the massacre we will hold an After party at the nice bar located at the beach near Pealr Islet on the shores of Southsun Cove. We will have a nice Guild Banquet and catch us some Seefood and maybe the Karka Queen will show up and treat us all to some nice shinies after we strip her of some armor as well.

Even though we will do our best to bring these events to a success, there's a high(er) chance of failing. We don't want  people who participated being angry with us if we do fail. Although we do have a 100% Kill Rate on Naked Tequatl and have gotten close to decapping all 3 wurms on all our Naked Wurm attempts, and off course our full Naked Wurm kills on June 24 2015, September 12th 2016, June 19th, and September 11th 2017.

To do so, we would like to organise another of our famous and hilarious Darkwards Special Naked Triple Trouble Event Nights, and since it also the End of a HoT Summer (and Heart of Thorns as well, with Path of Fire on the horizon), we would like to theme this one the Bikini Birthday Quake Hasta La Vista HoT, PoF On The Horizon Party Edition.

As some of you may have already been told, my left shoulder underwent surgery this wednesday, and it turned out the damage to the joint is much worse then anticipated (and that wasn't too bright to start with). The result of this is, that I'm not allowed to use my left arm for at least 6 weeks (immobilized in a sling), after which intenseve physiotherapy will follow for at least another 6 weeks. So you will probably see me in game and also joining events, as I seem to be able to play one-handed allbeit with some restrictions/reduction in speed. Commanding may however be too much to handle with these restrictions, although if I feel up to it and with some back up, I may actually give it a try if the oppertunity preveils.

So, I just wanted to post a topic on last night's TT event, as preparation was far from being perfect with TS going down on probably the worst moment in time just before starting the walkthroughs. I have to complement everybody for staying calm and just waiting for the TS server to be up and running again, and a special complement to Dark for having it up and running again just before the event started .

Also I want to complement everybody who was running on my Amber crew last night, as we all did a great job giving the fact that I only had time to explain the event during the escort in the most brief form about, again excellent work guys. We had hardly any issues on Amber, even when we had to wait for Crimson to close their gap, only a few players needed to be told in say chat to leave the ABOM alone, giving me the idea that almost everybody was on TS with me, and that with 50+ people doing Amber.

Also my complements go to the other commanders and coordinators that were present, for getting their crews ready despite the down time of TS. I recall Red did his dry run on say chat, and I also saw that Darkless was doing a dry run as well.

So giving the circumstances, it was a very, very good run, and shows the progression we have made in organising these events.

What I also like personally, is how everybody is working together during the event. Over the last couple of runs, diboofs and condi's are calling out the wurms attacks during phase one, making live more easy for the commander, something that is also happening during phase 2 where attacks are also called out by Amanda. This something I am working on personally at the moment and is coming along as I have been able to spot and call out some of the phase 2 attacks when supporting Amanda, and also last night during my own commanding. OK, I don't spot every attack right, but I feel much more confident with this then a couple of weeks back. Thanks again Amanda and also Storm who was helping out during some of my runs as well.

So lets keep up this great spirit and work that make up PSDH.
