The main issue is that higher dps on a condition is not the most important thing, as duration needs to be considered as well. This is where burning really falls down in necro builds - being only a 3 second application. This is also why you don't trait fear to do damage because you just don't have enough fear to make it worth taking over the amazing Master of Corruption.

"Could be pretty good"... well... yes... it is the staple of your rotation and you want to be using it off cooldown xD In a non-minion build at least.

As for Death Magic, well you can see what those minions do, and in some situations it would out-DPS the burning you can stack which was my point. You still need Curses and Reaper, so if you want Blood Magic there's your build: no SR.

Oh wait, did he post Corrosive Poison Cloud in his list of utilities? Totally missed out on that one.

I never liked Soul Reaping anyway
