Patch Borked
« on: March 16, 2015, 07:51:26 PM »
I can't get the patch to complete... stuck with 1 file remaining to download. >:( have no idea if I'll make it on for the TT Wurm tonight.  Sure you'll be fine without me though ;)

Seems also TTS failed the wurm due to bugs, even though seems there isn't an official decision on forums on putting it off or not.
I don't know about gw2community.
In any case i think we should keep it off till anet patches it (and last patch doesn't seem to have done anything but i will take a look)

seems some sneak fixes have been done (eg skill lag is gone) so probably we can do it but we need a proper split and proper might stacking.

crimson with TTS. yes we did it... somehow. and it was the first kill from TTS since patch.

TTS started running (again as they were abandoned since last patch touching wurm) power teams which stay in zerg but go for eggs in case of issues, to be on safe side wednesday we can go for that.

i asked also chiiwi and seems they confirm stuff is sorta back to normality (aside textures and some bugs which are still there, but skill lag is normal now) also power cap changed so you actually need bloodlust + sharpening stones to reach it. so food and sharpening stones won't be optional now.

according to chiiwi seems scaling didn't really change, TTS thinks differently and checks better numbers on 3 wurms i don't know what's the case, but rumors say crimson scaling is bugged. (which would explain the low dps yesterday, in addition to not reaching power cap).

Anyway i think we can try it again but I'd put it off if we don't get at least 110-120 ppl in ts at minimum maybe even more than that

Do you know if the animations being out of sync have been fixed? Also, there have been people reporting issues with Tequatl as well, jump pads causing fall damage when landing and battery defence timers hitting 0:00 and not triggering the burn phase.

I rechecked the video they seem in sync (you can analyze it yourself as tts calls for reflectors by saying reflect in ts, that's when you activate your skill).
Seems yesterday they had huge server lags with out of sync timers as well like everyone seeing different times.
No idea about tequatl but i didn't see problems.

Fixed an issue that caused the textures on the Great Jungle Wurm to display incorrectly.
Fixed an issue that prevented the Unfortunate Adventurer’s harpoon gun from damaging the Great Jungle Wurm’s pyloric valve in the Triple Trouble meta-event

Seems there was a scaling bug with power when being rescaled under your level so also the power thing might be fixed.
I guess we can try it again today but at least for crimson i'm introducing some strategy changes for this attempt, to be safe.

Everything seems fixed, apart from the wurm's particle effects/trails still missing textures. But it should be ok for us to give it a go this evening.

There was still some funky stuff going on with Cobolt - firstly the escort - now as you know the eggs are mainly tougher on Cobolt escort in comparison to the other 2 but today was something else - 2 of them were insta hatching (literally as soon as the health bar appeared loads of larvae hatched)

and we seemed to have a ton more veteran worms in the arena than normal.

Also did any of the other condis seem to be doing less damage to the husks?? it was taking the cobolt condi team forever to take them down (adittedly we also had others agroing them) but i just seemed to be doing less damage today

  • Fixed an issue with the downscaling of stat multipliers.
Downscaling potentially fixed?

Just remembered aswell, at Amber aside from the Wurm's drool and other particle effects missing textures, the Wurm model that appears from the ground to "eat" the players is still Blue xD

yep was in the video kaelik :P
btw for your less damage gemgie is caused by the character scaling. which is probably fixed as of this morning, but you never know. (that's why i was stressing about it yesterday :P)

While i'm starting to really hate anet for this crap pushing to pirateship, it's  a good thing for world bosses:

Updated condition damage. Previously, a condition that had a fractional remainder of time after it dealt damage would not inflict the rest of its damage. For example, a 1.5-second burn would deal 1 second of burning damage, then fail to inflict the remaining 0.5 seconds of burning. Conditions will now deal this fractional damage either at the beginning or end of their duration, depending on when the next damage pulse would occur and their remaining duration.
