[Event] Balloon Trek

Hello PSDH!

After a successful Hide&Seek event we're going to organize an other guild event \o/ *yeey*

When: March 28th (Easter)
Time: 19:00GMT / 20:00CET

The past has told us that during holidays - like Easter - our numbers are always a bit lower, so instead of half-assing Teq and TT-Wurm and leaving you all in tears because you didn't get your greens and blues, we decided to organize a guild event for some laughs and banter.

The Event
Last event was Hide&Seek and this event is kinda like that. Since it's Easter we thought it be fun to do something related to that. First time comes to mind... searching for coloured eggs. But since we don't have egg decorations we're swapping them with coloured balloons

We've named this event: Balloon Trek

How it works
Me and Gem have gone around the guild hall and found some nice places were we can "hide" balloons. For each hiding spot we have thought of a cryptic text which should give you a (small) clue on where this balloon is hidden. Once you have found a balloon, you whisper the location of the balloon (+ decoration next to it) to either me or Gem and ff the answer is correct we will give you a letter which in the end will give you the final word.

Prizes
The first three who figure out the correct final answer will receive a "special" price Before the event we will announce the prizes.

Play The Game
If you were unable to join yesterday - or just didn't knew this event existed - you can now play the game yourself, without the prices of course unless you get something for yourself We will leave the balloons in there locations for the next one or two weeks.

Below you will find 10 cryptic messages which describes where a balloon is located. With each balloon we placed a decoration to make sure you actually found the balloon and are not just guessing. After you have found a balloon with a decoration you will receive a letter which in the end makes an anagram.

#5: Could this balloon have been here since we first claimed our guildhall?

#6: Ini meeny miny mo ... which side I will pick you have to know..

#7: Guilded hollow? This safe bit of it is really golden but hands off Gem's case of rum!
Purple - Keg - R
#8: Arrrgh, matey, go swab the deck you scurvy bastard!
Fushia - Candle(s) - T
#9: There's got to be a way out of this forsaken place somewhere round Tarir
Yellow - Mushroom - A
#10: Bringing some colour in the grey and brown life our hard working slaves
Red - Jack-o-Lantern - N

Final Clue
Once you have found all 10 balloons, you may open the following final clue which should help you solve the anagram.
Take the letters you earned and add a touch of home. Mix them up to figure out this classy clue for your chance at glory.

Just a small addition - in order to make this easier i wont be using in game whispers for this but the personal whispers that you can do in ts. Its the same way you get your rank reset after purge - you will double click mine or Darks name in ts - it opens up a separate chat tab for you in ts - DONT CLOSE THAT TAB. That way you can keep all your letters you get when you find stuff in one place and they wont dissapear off the top of chat You are going to need them to work out your anagram - and we can also know when you have all 10 balloons and give you your final anagram clue.

The final anagram was my nemesis. I actually guessed it really quickly... but thought I was two letters short. Turns out I missed the part of the final clue about 'adding' a G and an H to the letters we already had... DOH! >.<

It was a great way to explore the guild hall and to meet some of the members.

The balloon trek was great!  Thanks to everyone who had a hand in organizing it - you guys were fiendish with some of your clues!
It was a fab way to explore the Guild Hall and meet people.

It was also great to do something completely different and as a newbie I felt really welcome - so thank you!
