Serpents' Ire Meta
« on: October 10, 2017, 12:01:38 AM »
Since I probably won't be around on Wednesday for our first Serpents' Ire Meta run I thought I'd share my experiences with this event.

Phase 1 = Hide and Seek

There are 5 Forgotten zealots hiding in the Branded area of Domain of Vabbi (Eastern side of map minus the Djinn temple and Yahnur Plateau). We first have to kill veteran or higher-ranked Branded creatures to lure each zealot out of hiding (a message will appear on-screen each time a zealot is lured out of hiding and can be found), once a zealot is found and attacked they will appear on the world map for everyone to see and this starts the 8 minute timer to kill that particular zealot.

Phase 2 = CC or Die

This takes place at the Grand Court of Sebelkeh.

The 5 Forgotten zealots will respawn at the 4 corners of the court and at the POI at the top (circled in red). Split up between the 5 locations and when the zealots spawn prepare to CC them A LOT to make them vulnerable. I've noticed that once the zealots are on low health (around 50% or less) the zealots no longer need to be CC'd to be damageable, but it's still best to break them from their channeling and for the extra burst of damage.

Like with Chak Gerent, once your group is about to kill your zealot check with the other groups to see who needs help and move over to them.

Phase 3 = Kill the Snek

The final phase is pretty straight forward. 2 Legendary bosses will spawn, one is a much larger and angrier Forgotten and the other is a Hydra. Focus on killing the Forgotten first because the Hydra just respawns as long as the Forgotten is still alive.

Once the Forgotten's health drops to around 25-30% it periodically becomes invulnerable and spawns Sparks (yellow box) which make their way towards it, shift focus on killing the Sparks during these phases.

If all goes well the Forgotten dies and the Hydra is easy to finish off afterwards.
